In addition to his work, Raymond is dedicated to serving his community.  Raymond is a 2016 Fellow of the Washington Leadership Institute (and now serving on its Advisory Board) and was a long-time board member of the Filipino Lawyers of Washington, serving as the 2022 co-chair of the Joint Asian Judicial Evaluation Committee.  He was also an adjunct professor at the Seattle University School of Law and was an affiliate professor at the University of Washington School of Law.  Raymond also served as a Judge, Pro Tem for the City of Edmonds.  Most recently, Raymond was appointed by Washington State Governor Jay Inslee to serve on the Washington State Clemency and Pardons Board in July 2023 (and selected as Chair in August 2025).
